Very excited to announce the release of my brand new single “HOME” with two extra bonus tracks.

These 3 songs i’ve just released have been a labour of love. I’ve been bunkered down writing music for many different projects in my home studio Hummingbird Studio. From TV commercials for Kenwood Australia and Channel Ten’s hit show Offspring to feature film the Abundance Code to name a few.

So happy with the cover – my best friend Melanie Waugh painted the cover.

Thanks boys for having me as a guest performer in Sydney.

I was honoured to be asked to sing with Jimmy and the boys at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, before the place will be knocked down in the next few months.

I joined them for ‘Lost’ a song i wrote with song writing mentor and good mate, Don Walker.

I’ve been told the song has done very well for them.

One of the highest honours to share a bit of history with these legends.

COLD CHISEL WILL BE RELEASING A SONG I WROTE,
AND IT’S OUT TOMORROW!!

When i was a kid, growing up on the Northern streets of Adelaide, (Elizabeth, Salisbury, Gawler, One Tree Hill,) you had to know who Cold Chisel were. It was sacrilege if you didn’t, every second song on the radio was a Chisel song. You weren’t alive if you didn’t know who they were.

It’s amazing to think that cut to 20 years in the future, my song would be released as a Cold Chisel song.

This has to be one of, if not, my greatest career highlight so far. ‘Lost’ was co-written with long time collaborator, good mate, and songwriting mentor, Don Walker. Don wrote most of the Chisel classics such as “Khe Sahn,” and my favourite, “Flame Trees.”
Don and i started writing together many years ago, when i was about 15 and we haven’t stopped since, we’ve written quite a few now and there’s a few great tunes lying around..

‘Lost’ is very close to my heart, having played it many times at my own shows around this great land. I remember when i sat down in a stairwell at the back of a stage in the middle of Australia somewhere, just about to go on, and the chorus just came flooding out. And for me, at that time, i was pretty Lost in life, i’ve always felt like i never really truly have found my place in life. Always searching for something greater.. And yes, we all ‘get a little Lost sometimes, but that’s alright.’

‘Lost’ is a song which yields great power and i’ve seen it bring a tear to many a grown mans eye and silence a room all over the country, in every venue i’ve been to.

Chisel gives it a new dimension and i can’t wait for it to become one of their many iconic anthems in years to come.

This album EXCITES ME, THE MOST!’

More than ANYTHING I’ve have been involved with in my career as a musician and also in general life.

A few weeks back I decided to go into the studio and record my new songs I’ve written about situations that have rocked me deeply and touched my soul.

I went into the studio one morning at 7am and by 9:30am the record was done. It’s live takes full of passion and pure, raw emotion from my heart to yours.
